Admissions Requirements - READ
Generally, a high school diploma is required for entry into a Bachelor programme, a baccalaureate (Bachelor) degree is required for entry into the Master’s programme, and a Master’s degree for admission into the Doctoral programme. However, each application is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We consider any prior experience and learning that is relevant. Discuss your research and academic goals with the Director of your Program or get course counselling here.
How to Apply
Complete the online application form and submit it together with the following:
- A full curriculum vitae/resumé. Information on college experiences, extracurricular activities, work experience, training courses and workshops completed, and/or independent study should also be included.
- A brief autobiography. Your name, address, telephone number including area code, and e-mail address should be at the top of the paper. Tell us about your personal interests, present job, and professional aspirations, and why our program could make a difference to you.
- A brief research proposal, if you choose either research or projects options. Outline what you would like to do on the program – the research topic, intended methodology, and planned resources. It should be clear and concise, and can be modified later after discussion with your Program Director. View guidelines. Bachelor programs do not require a research proposal.
- Copies of all academic transcripts. English translations should be included for transcripts in another language.
- English language proficiency. Please provide formal proof of proficiency if English is not your native language or the main language of instruction at your university. We require at least TOEFL IBT 79 or IELTS 6.5 for Bachelors or below; TOEFL IBT 94+ or IELTS 7 for Masters; TOEFL IBT 102+ or IELTS 7.5 up for Doctorates. We may request a Zoom interview or further documentation to clarify your proficiency.
- Two references. Ask your employers, business partners, and/or academics to complete this online reference form.
- Scan of your passport or government-issued ID showing your name, date of birth and photograph to verify identity (we delete upon verification).
- Clear photograph (in JPG or PNG or GIF) showing your face looking directly into the camera, against a clear background. The photo will be used for your ID card. We cannot use digitally altered and filtered photographs or where you are looking to the side.
- Application fee of €100.
- All other relevant and related information or documentation (e.g. scholarship requests, etc.)
Note that scholarship applications MUST be submitted together with a normal application for admission. Supporting documentation such as tax returns, payslips, etc should be submitted too, as the Scholarship Committee will not review incomplete applications.
Applications are processed quickly. Candidates are kept informed throughout the process by email.
